Guided Steps Discipleship works closely with existing University Contacts, as well as potential new universities, to raise awareness of the 2027 Mentoring Cohort.

Mentor and Mentee Registration

Mentor / Mentee Matching

• Guided Steps performs its unique method of matching students to professional Mentors

Feb 7-13, 2027

Mentor and Mentee Notifications

• Guided Steps will notify via email Mentors and Mentees of their pairings.

• Mentor pairs have initial phone/Zoom meeting to meet each other

2027 Cohort Kick Off

• Initial Zoom for all Cohort participants to meet and go over Mentoring Format

• Any other administrative information will also be presented

Feb 21 2027 - Apr 10,2027

Formal Mentoring Sessions

• Mentors and Mentees hold weekly meetings for 6 weeks.  

  • March 7-20 is a "double week" to accommodate Spring Break dates that vary by university.

• Guided Steps Discipleship will hold a mid-phase check-in for all to come together and provide updates or ask questions.  Participation is highly encouraged

  • Mar 23, 2027 - Mid-phase Check-in #1 on Zoom

  • Mar 24, 2027- Mid phase Check-in #2 on Zoom

Apr 10, 2027

End of Formal Mentoring

• Formal end of 6-week mentoring, but we encourage Mentee and Mentor to continue relationship

• Students and Mentors submit end of cohort survey

2027 Mentoring Celebration

• Zoom meeting- review survey and provide time to share experiences
